The aroma is sweetish and fruity with blueberry over a basic malt base. It's a Hazy golden in color beneath a short head of white foam that seems to be slipping away before my eyes. Notes via stream of consciousness: What, it's not pinkish? Oh, I see, it's all "natural flavors". It has unlike many blueberry or added fruit beers, a sense of rightly added fruit without the sweetness, but the malt character is just really lacking behind it as an afterthought. Mild tasting blueberry that isn't sickly sweet at least. Powdery like finish which is enhanced by some more chalk like dryness that just amplifies in the aftertaste. Grainy and chalky tasting and feeling malt flavor. Grainy mid palate with a decent mouthfeel, but the flavors just really aren't that well put together. Palate seems to be a bit of an afterthought. A bit of a one note like flavor but decent enough, but not a lot of character going on here. Light sensing blueberry like nose, hints a little seltzery and candy like but not too sweet either. A foam capped almost bleach white adjunct like head, but pretty tall at just a little more than three fingers and settling slowly with quite a decent amount of retention. Poured from the can into a nonic(k) pint glass.ĭark golden amber with a touch of hazy body. Slightly more grainy with a decent blueberry sweetness. Overall – A rather decent blueberry brew. A little thinner body may have been slightly better to create a nice crisp sipper, but in light of the graininess, the feel is pretty good overall. Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is medium in thickness with a carbonation level that is higher. The blueberry and caramel malt get stronger, generating more sweetness, with these flavors taking the taste to the end and producing a moderately blueberry sweet and slightly grainy/malty taste.

Along with these tastes comes notes of a light grassy flavor as well as a touch of harvest fruit. Taste – The taste begins with a grainy and malty bready taste mixed with a moderate blueberry and caramel sweetness. Mixed with these smells comes some notes of caramel sweetness as well as a little bit of a pie crust like. Smell – The aroma is quite heavy of a grainy and bready smell mixed with a strong blueberry aroma. The head fades rather fast leaving a bit of foamy lace on the sides of the glass. Appearance – The beer pours a golden color with a small white head.
